Fresh start seems like a good idea though, just glad the old profile's still there, too many people delete all their old stuff when they want to start fresh.

Part of the reason why it is still there is because I can't even access it (I no longer use nor have the email I used for it) - I don't stress over it though, so I just let it be and start over, no big deal for me personally. lol
Place done grown up with us, it seems! Dunno how it happened though, since kids keep coming in, it's become a gathering ground for all ages, but all that edgy content from back in the day, where did that all disappear too... teens these days feel way more grown up already.
And for sure, it just keeps improving in all kinds of ways.
Read the lost email bit yeah. :) If you did have access would you have kept going with that one was was though? Maybe you WOULD have cleared out old content on that old profile...? Good thing about that lost email if so. XD Personally I find it's pretty cool there are users who have stages to their existence like that, where you can explore all the new stuff and eventually feel like you have a pretty good picture of who they are/what they make/how they express themselves... and then discover there's a whole new past layer you've yet to dive into! It's like time travel; sometimes like a totally different person from the way back... not that I stumble upon old profiles all the time but it happens. Little leftover time capsules for anyone who digs deep enough to find.
I agree!
Honestly, if I somehow got that old email back.. I would still leave my old stuff online, since it is still part of my journey and history as a creator.
I admit, I do occasionally cringe really hard at my old content, but I feel like we have all gone through edgy and/or rebellious phases during our younger years - or at least something similar - given that we are all trying to discover "our voice" at that age; it is all part of us trying to find our identity and who we want to become.
That's cool. :) Yeah I feel the same. Not proud of the old always but it does feel like part of a the journey, and after a while it seems like you feel more distanced from it too, like that was a whole different you. As you relate less to it maybe you feel less embarrassed about it being something you made? Anyway long-term I think it'll just be fun to have old work still lying around; to look back on when you're old and weary and need that nostalgia. Fun for others too.
So good to hear! :) Too many just clear all! Raze the fur of nostalgia with a clean cut.

Ah you've been around! Happy tenth anniversary... sorta! Hope you stick around for an official one in a decade though. ;)
It's still a great place to be.

I have!
I was barely a teen when I was introduced into Newgrounds..
It is a bit crazy to think that, now that I am an adult, the place has evolved and changed so much over the years!
